Nic serves as a Partner and Managing Director, working directly with his clients to create and
maintain a customized financial plan addressing all aspects of a healthy financial life, including
investments, tax planning, risk management, retirement, employee benefits and estate planning.

Prior to joining Creative Planning, Nic served as a retirement education specialist at a national
retirement plan provider. Having spent his entire career in the financial services industry, Nic has
developed an in-depth knowledge of serving clients and providing comprehensive wealth
management for high-net-worth households.

Nic received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Kansas. He is a
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, as designated by the Certified Financial Planner Board
of Standards, and a Chartered Financial Analyst®, as designated by the CFA Institute.

Nic is a native Minnesotan and still finds time to visit Minnesota each year. Nic and his wife have a
daughter, a son and a soft-coated wheaten terrier. They enjoy traveling, bike riding, trying new
restaurants and anything that has to do with being out in nature.
