As a Managing Director with Creative Planning, Kim works directly with clients to design,
implement, and maintain strategies that address their holistic wealth management needs. Kim’s
approach always concentrates first on an acute understanding of her clients’ overall situation which
then allows her to provide tailored planning in the areas of investment, tax, retirement, estate, and
charitable planning.

Prior to joining Creative Planning, Kim worked for one of the nation’s largest financial services
companies as a Vice President, Regional Planning Consultant where her duties included consulting
with both clients and advisors on complex financial planning strategies and delivering presentations
on various economic and financial planning themes to both large and small audiences. Before
taking a leadership role, Kim enjoyed serving as an Account Executive. During her tenure, Kim was
recognized at both the regional and national level with awards in leadership, customer excellence,
and execution. She received multiple Achiever awards, was part of the leadership development
program, and most recently was proud to be part of the inaugural Planning & Guidance Institute for
top consultants.

Kim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University. She also
holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification of which she completed her required course
work through Northwestern University.

Kim and her husband Phillip reside in the Chicago area and together they have a passion for
traveling. In her spare time she enjoys baking, the outdoors, and spending time with family, friends
and their two dogs.
